Smileypedia is a wiki that I have created to discuss and promote the different smiley artists and their works. I started the Smileypedia because I realised that there are many smileys on the internet where the original authors are unknown.

I find this a bit strange because any other artist, e.g. a painter, sculptor, musician, or author would be properly credited for their work. So why not smiley artists?

My vision for Smileypedia is that the talented smiley artists would be properly recognised for their work.
